Senator Ademola Adeleke, representing Osun West Senatorial District has been declared the winner of the People’s Democratic (PDP) governorship primary held on Saturday.
Chairman of the Osun PDP election panel, Gov. Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa who announced the results, said Adeleke scored 1,569 votes while his closest challenger, Akin Ogunbiyi, scored 1,562 votes as well as a former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Nathaniel Oke, who scored 56 votes and 3 votes respectively.
