Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, attended the China-Africa AIDS Prevention and Control meeting that was hosted by the First Lady of China, Professor Peng Liyuan.
The photos of the meeting, which involved the President’s wife and other African First Ladies, was shared on her Twitter handle, @aishambuhari.
She wrote: “I had the pleasure of attending the China-Africa AIDS Prevention and Control meeting hosted by the First Lady of China Professor Peng Liyuan.
“I also had the pleasure of meeting with other African First Ladies. I believe that together we can reverse the trend of HIV/AIDS in Africa.”
Mrs Buhari had on Friday accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari to China for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
